Maneki Neko, welcoming Cat at the Tokuriki's Summer house, Hanase which is close to Kurama in North of Kyoto. Daniel Kelly studied woodblock printmaking technique from Tokuriki when he moved to Kyoto from the U.S. more than thirty years ago.
Hanase is a soba noodle restaurant now. Daniel and his friend, Tomomi took us there and, we all enjoyed handmade soba noodle with Sesami Sauce. It was so tasty!
